Health Insurance Companies Give Agents the Same Quotes
All health insurance companies, by law, are required to offer the same price to one agent that they do to any other agent for a specific group. Quotes are generated by a census submitted to a specific insurance carrier.
If one agent submits a census with different medical conditions or a different employee count than another agent, the quotes are going to be different. However, at the time of underwriting, both quotes will end up the same.No agent receives a better deal than another agent for any reason.
Bill Igleheart, Vice President of Blue Cross
Blue Shield of Georgia, confirmed this in this letter.
