Braden Benefit Strategies, Inc. has created an employee benefits agency dedicated to providing our clients benefit consulting, market knowledge and services generally afforded by large companies.  We believe companies with 300 lives or less need these services but find the large benefit companies too expensive.  By incorporating a pro-active, client centered approach, we are able to bring value to our clients they might not afford or receive from their current agent/agency.

Why would anyone accept a renewal where the agent has adjusted the annual deductible, co-insurance, out of pocket maximum and doctor visit co-pays?

This approach does not solve any problems long term; it just increases the pain of both the employee and the employer.  In situations like this you can wait another year and hold your breath hoping next year will be better.

Until the business (and their agent/advisor) looks at what factors are driving the increase, employers cannot expect to gain control of the increases.

How do insurance companies figure your annual premium – Simple – premiums paid minus claims paid plus administrative cost.
