Case Study: Agent is a Family Friend
Problem:
The current broker was the husband of one of the employees, was not communicating to the HR Director, was not on top of the changes in the health insurance market, was not on top of compliance issues, was not helping with employee meetings or claims and was not perceived to be getting the company the "best deal".
Solution:
Braden Benefit Strategies, Inc. LISTENED to what the HR Director, Top Management and the employees said they wanted from their employee benefits and their agent. We then evaluated the current plan, compared this to what was available in the market and proposed adjustments. We proposed a total benefit package, helped create the employee communication package and then serviced the account throughout the year helping employees with claims and the client with billing issues.
Results:
We were able to construct and present a comprehensive benefits package that improved the overall offerings of the company.
In addition, Braden Benefits staff annually visits each of the locations with the HR Director to present benefit changes, answer questions, explain compliance issues and address any employee concerns. BBSI brought the company into compliance on HIPAA and many DOL items. We have worked with employees and management to address employee health concerns and to create an atmosphere of security and trust among the employee population. Braden Benefits is viewed by the employees of this company as an extension to their HR department.
